Elmore Goldsmith Adds Two Attorneys and a Family Element

April 5, 2012

The law firm of Elmore Goldsmith is pleased to announce the addition of two attorneys.  Mason A. “Andy” Goldsmith and K. Jay Anthony have joined the firm’s litigation team.  “We are extremely pleased to have Andy and Jay join the firm,” said partner Frank Elmore.  “Andy has significant experience litigating business issues in state and federal court. He will be a mentor to others in the firm and a strong advocate for our clients.”

Mr. Goldsmith has spent his career practicing in his home town of Greenville, SC.  He was formerly with Love, Thornton, Arnold & Thomason, P.A. and served as managing partner. He has built a practice serving clients in the areas of complex business litigation and commercial real estate and banking transactions.  “Throughout the years I have handled many construction disputes and joining the firm of Elmore Goldsmith will create new opportunities for this area of my practice.” said Goldsmith.  “It also allows me to practice law with my son, Andy, which is something I wanted to do.  We will make a great team.”

Mr. Anthony, a former law clerk to Justice Costa M. Pleicones on the Supreme of South Carolina and associate with Love, Thornton, Arnold & Thomason, P.A., will be a member of the firm’s litigation team.  “Jay has great experience and we are excited to have him join the firm,” said Frank Elmore.
